WHAT’S INVOLVED IN THE LESSON
In today’s free lesson we have a classic Bob Dylan tune for you, and the perfect song for beginners to practice some key open chord shapes. Not only do I go over the chords of the song, but also show the how to play the main rhythm pattern just as it is played in the actual track! Once I show you the first 8 bars of the song you literally just need to repeat that across the entire song, making it the perfect song to have a bit of fun with for beginners!
As mentioned above, this is definitely more of a beginners song. This song gives beginner players a chance to put into practice the chords G major, A minor, D major and C major, which are pretty much the 4 most commonly used chord shapes in the history of guitar music! It isn’t for total starters to the guitar however, as the rhythm pattern can be a little tricky. None the less, give it a try and see how you get on!
