Bradley Wescott Your Guitar Academy Tutor

Having graduated from the Brighton Institute Of Modern Music with a BA (Honours) in Professional Musicianship, he has spent years honing his craft under the guidance of top industry professionals such as session extraordinaire Gothrie Govan (Asia/Erotic Cakes), Ace (Skunk Anansie), Kenwyn House (Reef) and Jim Williams (This Mortal Coil/Craig Armstrong).Bradley has also gained recognition for his role as lead guitarist with local band, The Slytones who have toured some of most renowned venues and music festivals in the country.

As an experienced teacher Bradley understands the need for patience and dedication, whilst creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment to ensure he brings out the best in his students. Bradley has worked as the in house guitar tutor in many local Hove based schools, teaching a range of children from 6 to 16. This experience has allowed Bradley to grow as a teacher, knowing how different students react to different subjects and tailoring his lessons to make sure each student gets the most out their time.


Bradley’s home studio is located on Portland Road in Hove, which is just next right in-between Hove and Portslade. There is roadside parking available, plenty of Bus Routes and only a 10 minute walk from Hove Station.

The studio is fully equipped with Marshall amps, Fender amps, a range of guitars including electric, acoustic and a 3/4 size classical guitar. Bradley has a great set up with professional guitar tabliture software, audio files and backing tracks, allowing you to get the most out of every lesson. Bradley likes to teach in a very relaxed, yet professional manner, enabling the student to feel comfortable to just enjoy the lesson.
